Winston's biggest problem so far is that he wants to revolt and take down big brother.He realized this when he looked down at his notebook and read "DOWN WITH BIG BROTHER". Winston lives in the state of  Oceania which is completely run by a communist type government that controls the public through propaganda. Even though he is one of the higher officials in the organization he still has no rights or freedoms. Winston keeps dreaming of a place called Gold Country where everyone is free and happy. I have a feeling that Winston is going to somehow escape and carry out his dreams.

Dear Lady Macbeth,

After looking at the test results it seems that you are Narcissistic. You have become obsessed with power and show no emotion over the death of Duncan. Your husband is having a hard time dealing with blood on his hands and you have yet to help him cope with his emotions. In order to fix these issues, you must be less fixed on power and more on emotion. You also need to help your husband deal with his emotions because you will be stronger as a couple.

The Fiscal Cliff

The Fiscal cliff is a term to describe the problems the U.S. Government will have to deal with at the end of 2012 by December 31st. The problem that the government has to deal with is the Budget Control Act of 2011, this law basically means a lot of tax increases and pay cuts. The government is left with three choices 1. Continue with the scheduled plan, this will raise taxes and cut pay and may potentially send the country back into a recession. 2. Cancel some or all of the tax raises and pay cuts, this would add to the U.S. deficit and would be similar to Europe's deficit crisis. 3. go down the middle allowing some cuts and raises, this would slow down the growth of the economy. The Republicans want to limit deductions while the Democrats want to make rates higher on the rich.

1. I used Google to find my sources which was Bloomberg.com and about.com. I used these souces because they're legit sights i have heard of before and were some of the first few options on the google search results page.
2. I found everything to be helpful.
3. I didn't learn any new search strategies today.
4. I will use my best judgment while doing research and not use sights like Wikipedia to get my information.

ENTERPRISING

The enterprising type involves people skills, fiancial careers, and leadership. A major that sounds cool and would help me get a job would be Fiance. There are lots of cool careers for enterprising such as FBI/CIA agent, lobbyist, lawyer, attorney, and treasurer. These all seem like interesting careers that i would like to learn more about. Before i did this activity i didnt know what job would fit me but now i know at least one direction i can look forward to. This activity did give me some career choices to think about and how to get there.

My Hero

My hero is my dad. My dad is the type of person who knows what to do or say at the right time. He’s always been there to support me and give me advice. He's been there for me my whole life, whether it be supporting me or helping me make decisions. I look up to him because he has good morals and beliefs. Even though my mom left, my dad stayed to take care of me, which at times can be very stressful. I may only have one parent, but he makes me feel like i have two. My dad is like Edward bloom in many ways. My dad is always in a happy mood, he knows how to fix things and has lots of great stories. My dad is the type of person that you would be lucky to have by your side.That's why my dad is my hero.

They constantly add new things to Google maps which makes it more than a tool used for finding directions but a learning tool as well. It shows things such as the roman empire and how far it was spread or public transit schedules in Japan. Spend a few minutes browsing this blog and I'm sure you will be amazed.

#EVERYDAYHEROES

Our society has many heroes. Heroes are the people who find lost wallets and return them to their owner with money still in it,  heroes are the people who save others from a burning building, heroes are the ones who care about people that they dont know. Being a hero is'nt fighting crime in a cape and tights, that's a "movie" hero. We live among many hero's and don't even know it, sometimes it takes a dire situation for the hero in us to come out. Those men who took bullets for their girlfriends in the Aurora Colorado are heroes in my eyes, they sacraficed their lives for people they loved. Its not a matter of luck, but a trait to be a hero. There are lots of bad things in the world, so we need heroes to balance everything out.

I think that Educition is the key to success in America, but most people don't realize that. Most people i go to school with think that school is dumb and pointless, but really its an important part of a successful future. Personally i just started caring about school. I realized that if i dont want to flip burgers all day, every day of my life, i better start taking my school seriously. Although it seems difficult in the beginning, the prize is more than worth it at the end. Besides.....Knowledge is power right?

If i had to choose 3 things to bring on a deserted island i would bring A fully stocked  Costco w/ gas station, on a container ship, a dune buggy and all of the models from the 2013 Hooters calendar #LifeWillBegood
